Car crime spree on the Maidenhall Estate and Prince of Wales Drive

From the Suffolk Police:

A red Ford Fiesta parked on a driveway in Pembroke Close Ipswich was broken into sometime between 10pm Saturday 21st and 1.10am Sunday 22nd January. Damage was caused to the ignition and the vehicle moved approximately 200 metres along the street before being abandoned.

A maroon Vauxhall Cavalier parked in the same road was also broken into sometime between 5pm Saturday and 8.15am Sunday.

And between 5.30pm Saturday and 12.15am Sunday an attempt was made to force open a door of red Peugeot 106 in a parking area on Prince of Wales Drive Ipswich.

Also car crime has been noted in Birkfield Close, Partridge Close, Pheasant Road and Ancaster Road – so it’s a bit of an epidemic.
