South West Neighbourhood Policing Team newsletter

The newsletter of the South West Neighbourhood Policing Team is now online (it’s in a PDF format, so could take a bit of time to load).

Due to the fact that no Bridge Ward councillors turned up for the meeting when the policing priorities were set the priorities this year overwhelmingly favour the other wards.  However there is this snippet:

Addressed anti-social behaviour at Bourne Park, including underage drinking, criminal damage and disorderly behaviour.

Officers investigated incidents and dealt with offenders robustly. The SNT provided combined high visibility patrols with park staff. A total of ten ‘youth nuisance letters’ were sent to parents or guardians of teenagers who were found drinking underage or in possession of alcohol.  Sanctuary Housing placed a bid for funding to provide a youth club for the area.
