			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The <a target="_blank" href="http://www.onesuffolk.co.uk/NR/rdonlyres/9C773777-386C-48BC-978B-717E4C6E4957/0/IPSWICHSOUTHWESTSNTNewsletterautumn2010.pdf" target="_blank">newsletter of the South West Neighbourhood Policing Team</a> is now online (it&#8217;s in a <a target="_blank" class="zem_slink" title="Portable Document Format" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portable_Document_Format">PDF format</a>, so could take a bit of time to load).</p>
<p>Due to the fact that <a href="http://bridgeward.org.uk/bridge-councillors-don%e2%80%99t-show-when-police-set-area-priorities/" target="_blank">no Bridge Ward councillors turned up for the meeting when the policing priorities were set</a> the priorities this year overwhelmingly favour the other wards.  However there is this snippet:</p>

<div><em>Officers investigated incidents and dealt with offenders robustly. The SNT provided combined high visibility patrols with park staff. A total of ten ‘youth nuisance letters’ were sent to parents or guardians of teenagers who were found drinking underage or in possession of alcohol.  Sanctuary <a title="Housing" href="http://bridgeward.org.uk/tag/housing/">Housing</a> placed a bid for funding to provide a youth club for the area.</em></div>

<p>The next one is tomorrow (Wednesday 14th July) in <a title="Bourne Park" href="http://bridgeward.org.uk/category/bourne-park/">Bourne Park</a> (ost code IP2 8RE, if you need to use your Sat Nav, councillors).  Here are the details:</p>
<blockquote><p>Meet at 12 noon at the <a title="People’s Community Garden" href="http://bridgeward.org.uk/tag/people%e2%80%99s-community-garden/">People’s Community Garden</a>, off Halifax Rd, Maidenhall. Access through the pedestrian entrance, please follow the signs. From the garden we will walk to and around Bourne Park and then back to the Garden for a relaxing lunch. Please bring a pack lunch with you. Refreshments will be available. Composting Toilet on site. Transport &#8211; No 16 bus. Everyone welcome, please come and join us and find out more about the People’s Community Garden.<br />
