Car thefts in Austin Street and Ranelagh Road

From the Suffolk Police

Between 7pm Wednesday 16th and 11am Thursday 17th May a red Ford Sierra, registration G115WGV, was stolen from a car park area in Austin Street Ipswich.
And a beige Volkswagen Golf, registration A754DMO was stolen from a car park in  Ranelagh Road, Ipswich sometime between 8.45pm Tuesday and 8.30am Wednesday.

Calls relating to these thefts or the whereabouts of either vehicle should be made to Suffolk Police on 101 reference IW/12/1966 and 1967

Shed burglary in Montgomery Road

From the police:

On Saturday 10th March between 2pm and 8.50pm offenders have entered an insecure shed in the rear garden of a property on Montgomery Road, Ipswich. Three petrol strimmers were taken from within.

Van theft near Rapier Street

Between 5pm Saturday 25th and 9am Monday 27th February on Riverside Industrial Park, Ipswich a white Ford Transit van, registration AY03 WTU has been taken from a car park.  A company name is written on the sides of the vehicle.

Assault outside the Maidenhall Allotments

On Thursday 23rd February at 9.50pm a dog walker was assaulted whilst walking along a footpath adjacent to the Community Allotments Halifax Road, Ipswich. Burglary in Pembroke Close

On Saturday 25th February between 4.30am and 9am offenders have removed a fence panel gaining access to a garden at a property on Pembroke Close, Ipswich. A workshop was then entered and hand tools and fishing equipment were taken from within.

Robbery in Vernon Street

Ipswich Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in the town.

The incident happened between 5.10pm and 5.40pm last night, Monday 20 February in Vernon Street, Ipswich.

Whilst standing as a bus stop a 46-year-old woman was approached by a man who pushed her in the chest and grabbed her purse from her hand before running off.

The man is described as of mixed race appearance, in his late 20s, early 30s, around 5’10’’ tall and of medium build, he wore dark clothing and a beanie style hat.

Burglary in Belstead Avenue

On Tuesday 7th February between 9.30am and 3.10pm on Belstead Avenue, Ipswich offenders have forced open a front door at a property. A search has taken place inside and many items have been taken including: -

  • Packard Bell tower
  • Red Acer laptop computer
  • DVD player
  • Tom Tom satellite navigation system
  • Mobile phone
  • Sony digital camera
  • Canon digital camera
  • Printer
  • Jewellery including a gold ring with four stones set in a square shape

Garage burglary in Heatherhayes

Entry was gained to a garage on Heatherhayes in Ipswich between 3pm and 5pm on Tuesday 31st January; four children’s bicycles and a scooter were stolen from inside. The bikes are described as; a boys red Raleigh with a yellow stripe; a boys black Raleigh; a girls baby pink coloured; and a girls purple coloured with pink trim. More vandalism in Prince Of Wales Drive

Between 11.30pm Tuesday 31st January and 1.30pm Wednesday 1st February on Prince Of Wales Drive, Ipswich offenders have poured paint over the bonnet of a Nissan Micra parked in front of a property.

Burglary on Wherstead Road

From the Suffolk Police:

On Friday 27th January between 7pm and 8.10pm offenders have forced open the front door at a property on Wherstead Road, Ipswich.

 

Two locked rooms inside the property had doors forced open and a cream safe has been removed from the wall and taken along with cash, Rolex wristwatch, documents, gold ring and a black Stone Island jacket.
