Window Museum Opens 13th September. The first and largest of the five Window Museum displays is nearing completion and will be officially opened on 13th September with displays on the twin themes of ‘Thames Sailing Barges’ and ‘Sailmaking’. The opening will very appropriately be performed by Jim Lawrence of ‘James Lawrence Sailmakers, Brightlingsea’, and known to many of the IMT members through his fascinating talks on his early days on Thames Sailing Barges.

It will be near the Pizza Express on the waterfront (cross Stoke Bridge, turn right on the waterfront and walk for about three minutes).

I’ve already seen the window and it looks great.
