Sorry, this is a family friendly blog, so there’s nothing more than Daily Mail style outrage.

The vacuous social commentary that came from pop stars in the last forty years had for me one shining reprieve, the Band Aid Live Aid phenomenon.  There was something good in the human spirit then.

Consider the suffering that Band Aid and Live Aid were aiming to ameliorate and look at this:
